En estos días de revuelo político, de nuevos partidos, nuevas propuestas y nuevas caras, he recibido un mail de despedida de una empleada de un ayuntamiento de la provincia de Málaga. Imagino que me tendría entres sus contactos por alguna consulta o propuesta que algún día le formulé, ya que su nombre no me sonaba.
El tema es que cuando he recibido el mail he pensado ¿cuántas personas tendrán que volver a empezar? ¿Cómo afrontarán esa nueva situación laboral? después de tantos años haciendo lo mismo, acomodados, relajados, seguros, confiados,.. ¿Cómo se plantearán el volver a empezar de cero?
Sé muy bien de lo que hablo y puedo saber cómo se sienten
A esas personas que están pasando por un momento de “y ahora ¿para dónde tiro? ¿Con mi edad quien me va a contratar? Yo no sé hacer otra cosa que,…” A todas esas personas, les animo a:
Primero. Experiencia. Que no tiren por la borda todos los años de experiencia que tienen y que le han hecho ser el/la mejor en su área.
Les pido que busquen un camino donde les sirva lo ya recorrido en años anteriores. Les pido que no pierdan esos contactos que durante su trayectoria profesional han ido elaborando.
Seguramente en un primer momento no le podrán echar una mano. Todos tenemos un hermano, cuñado, amigo,… que no está pasando por un buen momento laboral, pero cuando ya hayas encauzado nuevamente el camino no te va a costar echar mano de ese contacto, con la seguridad y confianza de haber trabajado conjuntamente en otro tiempo.
Segundo. Formación. Les invitaría a que se formaran, pero no con cursos online, que también, fundamentalmente yo les animo a realizar cursos presenciales. Que te relaciones con otras personas, seguramente en situaciones similares a la tuya, (nos va a servir como terapia y como desarrollo en nuestras habilidades sociales).
Tercero. Networking. Nunca sabes quién te puedes encontrar en un curso, taller, conferencia,… Es muy recomendable para ampliar la red de contactos, el que te vean de alguna forma activ@, así cuando necesiten alguien de tu perfil tú serás el/la que le vengas a la cabeza.
Igual voy a sonar a “Hierbas” pero todo pasa por algo, todo sirve y cuando una puerta se cierra se abren varias ventanas.
Así que, intenta salir todos los días de casa, madrugar, arreglarte, buscar además de empleo, formación, no tiene por qué ser de pago, hay muchos eventos formativos y muchos gratuitos. Al menos para comenzar.
Si no sabes por dónde empezar, ya que buscar formación en los buscadores es un poco locura, te animo a que visites la agenda de Encuentros Tech, todas las semanas se cuelga las novedades de Málaga y provincia en materia de Social Media.
Mantén ocupado el tiempo, no será en vano. ¡Ánimo!
