El Papa Francisco ha advertido que los procesos de nulidad matrimonial no deben tomar años y que es necesario estar muy atentos para que los procesos de nulidad matrimonial no entren en el “marco de los negocios”. Lo ha dicho este miércoles 5 de noviembre durante el breve encuentro que tuvo con los participantes del curso sobre el matrimonio organizado por la Rota Romana, ante quienes reiteró que los fieles necesitan procesos breves y sentencias justas.

El Santo Padre recordó que en el Sínodo extraordinario sobre la familia, realizado en octubre, se expresó la preocupación “por simplificar el proceso, por un motivo de justicia. Justicia, para que sean justas, y justicia para la gente que espera”.

Es un llamado para que la Rota Romana acelere los procesos de nulidad matrimonial: el Papa Francisco señala que no puede ser posible que las personas esperen años por una sentencia, para saber si su matrimonio es válido o no.

“Justicia, cuánta gente espera por años una sentencia. Y por esto ya antes del Sínodo he constituido una Comisión que ayudase a preparar diversas posibilidades en esta línea: una línea de justicia, y también de caridad, porque hay tanta gente que necesita una palabra de la Iglesia sobre su situación matrimonial, para el sí o para el no, pero que sea justa”, expresó a los participantes del curso sobre el matrimonio organizado por la Rota Romana.

El Papa señaló que algunos procedimientos son largos y pesados “que no favorecen y la gente se va”. Recordó que al Tribunal interdiocesano de Buenos Aires (Argentina), llegaban personas luego de haber recorrido hasta 240 kilómetros. “No se puede, es imposible imaginarse que personas simples, comunes, vayan al Tribunal, tengan que hacer un viaje, tienen que perder días de trabajo”, expresó.

Estas personas, indicó, “dicen: Dios me comprende y sigo adelante así, con este peso en el alma. Y la Madre Iglesia debe hacer justicia y decir: Sí, es cierto, tu matrimonio es nulo; no, tu matrimonio es válido. Pero es la justicia la que lo tiene que decir. Así ellos podrán ir adelante sin esta duda, sin esta oscuridad en el alma”.

En ese sentido, el Papa Francisco agradeció este tipo de cursos. “Es la Madre Iglesia que va a buscar a sus hijos para hacer justicia. Y es necesario estar muy atentos a que los procesos de nulidad matrimonial no entren en el marco de los negocios: y no hablo de cosas extrañas. Ha habido también escándalos públicos”.

“Una vez tuve que despedir del tribunal a una persona, hace tiempo, que decía: “10 mil dólares y te hago los dos procesos: el civil y el eclesiástico”. ¡Por favor, esto no! Siempre en el Sínodo algunas propuestas han hablado de gratuidad, eso se debe ver… Pero cuando son atacados los intereses espirituales por lo económico, ¡esto no es de Dios! La Madre Iglesia tiene tanta generosidad para poder hacer justicia gratuitamente, como gratuitamente hemos sido justificados por Jesucristo. Este punto es importante: separen las dos cosas”, expresó.

“Gracias por haber venido a este curso: se debe estudiar y se debe ir adelante y buscar siempre la salus animarum, que no necesariamente se debe encontrar fuera de la justicia, sino también con justicia. Muchas gracias y les ruego que recen por mí. Gracias”, concluyó.

Hay que recordar que el 27 de agosto el Papa Francisco creó una Comisión con el fin de hacer más simples y rápidos los procesos de nulidad matrimonial, un tema que fue abordado en el Sínodo de la Familia.

El Cardenal Francesco Coccopalmerio, miembro de este grupo, explicó el pasado 10 de octubre que la misión de la Comisión es “preparar una propuesta de reforma del proceso matrimonial, buscando simplificar sus procedimientos, haciéndolo más sencillo y salvaguardando el principio de indisolubilidad del matrimonio”.

Llevábamos 10 años esperando para disfrutar de un fenómeno así en España. El 20 de marzo se podrá ver un eclipse de Sol desde cualquier punto del territorio español. Será el primero de esta década, ya que desde el 3 de octubre de 2005 no se disfrutaba de un fenómeno así en nuestro país, cuando un eclipse anular cruzó la Península Ibéricadejando imágenes sorprendentes. Hubo otro en 1999, especialmente famoso por ser el último eclipse total del milenio.

Esta vez el eclipse será parcial. Esto significa que la Luna no tapará por completo el disco solar. En ningún momento nos quedaremos a oscuras. No será tan evidente, pero sí se puede ver de forma segura. Cómo, cuándo y dónde hacerlo son las cuestiones que se resuelven en esta guía.

¿Cuándo es exactamente el eclipse?

Se producirá el viernes 20 de marzo de 2015 y durará alrededor de dos horas. Podrá verse entre las 08:57 de la mañana y las 11:29 horas. Todo dependerá del lugar de España desde donde se observe. Así, por ejemplo, en Madrid comenzará a las 09:04 hasta las 11:18 horas y en Barcelona será desde las 09:11 y se prolongará hasta las 11:27. "En todo caso, el momento máximo del eclipse [cuando el Sol presente la mayor área de su superficie tapada por la Luna] será de uno o dos minutos", explica el astrónomo Mario Tafalla, del Observatorio Astronómico Nacional (OAN). En la web de este organismo, dentro del apartado Desde su municipio, podemos obtener información sobre el horario de inicio y fin en nuestra localidad, y también del momento máximo del eclipse. Sólo hay que poner el código postal para obtener toda la información del fenómeno. Esta tabla de la web Misión Eclipse también muestra al detalle el horario que tendrá el fenómeno en cada ciudad de España.

¿Se podrá ver igual en todos los puntos de España?

Partiendo de la base de que el horario de inicio y de fin no va a ser el mismo en Cádizque en Zaragoza, ya se podría decir que no se verá igual en todos los puntos de España. Será visible desde cualquier rincón del país (siempre que las condiciones atmosféricas lo permitan), pero no con el mismo grado de intensidad. De toda la Península Ibérica, A Coruña será la provincia donde mejor se vea (allí el oscurecimiento será del 76%), mientras que en Almería será del 57,5%. Lo mismo ocurre si pasamos a las islas. En el archipiélago canario será todavía menos intenso. En Santa Cruz de Tenerife el oscurecimiento será del 46,2% y en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, del 45%.

¿Y en el resto de Europa, qué va a pasar?

En Europa se reproducirá el mismo esquema que en España: cuanto más al norte se esté, el grado de intensidad será mayor. De hecho, los habitantes de las islas Feroe y las Svalbard, al norte de Noruega, podrán disfrutar de un eclipse total. Mientras, en ciudades como Oslo el oscurecimiento será del 90% y en París, de algo más del 80%. Así, cuanto más nos dirijamos al sureste, se notará menos. En Atenas, será del 0,40%.

Y si salimos de Europa hacia África, el eclipse irá perdiendo intensidad paulatinamente hasta llegar a puntos como Monrovia, donde no se podrá apreciar. ¿Quiénes se van a quedar sin verlo?

La respuesta a esta pregunta es fácil. Sólo hay que echar un vistazo al mapa de la pregunta anterior para descubrir que no se verá ni en América, ni en la Antártida, ni en Oceanía. Europa es el único continente desde el que podrá verse íntegramente, es decir, no habrá rincón que se quede sin disfrutar del fenómeno en mayor o menor medida. Mientras, en Asia y África también se podrá contemplar aunque sólo en contados territorios: los situados al norte del primero y al oeste del segundo.

¿Lo voy a notar si voy andando por la calle en España?

Pues no exactamente. No se oscurecerá todo como si fuese el fin del mundo, será algo progresivo. "Si fuera un eclipse total [como sí será en las islas Feroe y las Svalbard], desde luego que se notaría; pero en este caso será más gradual. Disminuirá luz respecto a la luminosidad de ese día, pero nada más", explica Tafalla. Algo así como si hubiese una nube pasajera y la calidad de la luz se tornase diferente.

¿Puedo mirarlo directamente?

Rotundamente no. "Mirar al Sol es peligroso siempre. El problema con los eclipses es que la gente tiende a hacer cosas que no debería", explica Mario Tafalla. "Nunca se debe observar el Sol directamente, ni a simple vista ni con gafas de sol", recalca el astrónomo.

Tampoco se deben usar cámaras de fotos o vídeo para verlo a través de ellas, ni prismáticos o telescopios que no tengan filtros adecuados, ya que éstos, al amplificar la imagen, pueden provocar lesiones oculares más graves y en menos tiempo.

¿Qué pasaría si lo hago?

Mirar al Sol sin protección puede ocasionar importantes lesiones irreversibles en la córnea y quemaduras en la retina. Según alerta el Planetario de Madrid, la luz directa del Sol produce un punto ciego en el lugar del daño e incluso puede provocar ceguera permanente. "Durante un eclipse parcial el Sol nunca está totalmente cubierto por la Luna y por lo tanto mirarlo sin una protección segura y adecuada puede dañar los ojos, al igual que sucedería en un día cualquiera cuando no hay eclipse", recuerda el Observatorio Astronómico Nacional.

¿Cómo puedo verlo?

Para garantizar una observación segura hay dos opciones: utilizar unas gafas de eclipse o un telescopio equipado con filtros de cristal óptico, de polímero negro metalizado o de tipo Mylar. Las gafas de eclipse son unas gafas especiales homologadas con una montura de cartón y unos filtros (según la normativa europea, de tereftalato de polietileno, y con una índice de opacidad 5 o mayor) que eliminan las radiaciones solares dañinas.

En lugares como el Planetario de Madrid se van a organizar observaciones en las que se van a repartir estas gafas a los asistentes y que contarán con telescopios equipados con los filtros adecuados.

¿Si no tengo gafas o filtros, hay algún otro método para verlo?

Se puede observar de manera indirecta, viendo la imagen proyectada sobre algún tipo de superficie lisa. Estos métodos se basan en el efecto Pinhole (ojo de aguja), un principio por el cual la luz que atraviesa un pequeño orificio proyecta la imagen en un plano posterior, como en una cámara oscura. Por ejemplo, se puede utilizar una cartulina que haga sombra sobre el suelo y abrir pequeño agujero para ver cómo varía el punto de luz sobre el pavimento.

Lo recomendable es que el agujero sea muy pequeño y el lugar donde se proyecte la imagen esté a cierta distancia. También se puede utilizar una espumadera, una galleta con agujeritos o un rallador.

Una última opción es verlo a través de internet. En la web Misión Eclipse se podrá seguir una retransmisión del eclipse total de las Islas Feroe.

¿Dónde consigo las gafas o los filtros? ¿Y cómo tengo que pedirlos?

El material del que están hechos es el tereftalato de polietileno. En Estados Unidos y Reino Unido se comercializa bajo los nombres Mylar y Melinex, por lo que es habitual encontrarlos con esta referencia en las tiendas.

Si lo que se busca son unas gafas de eclipse ya hechas, hay algunas ópticas que las comercializan por 3 euros o también se pueden adquirir en algunas páginas web. Otra opción es comprar el material y hacer filtros Mylar caseros siguiendo estas instrucciones.

¿Valen las radiografías viejas o CDs?

No. En ningún caso hay que mirar al Sol, haya eclipse o no, a través de radiografías, CDs o DVDs, negativos velados, papel de aluminio, cristales ahumados, gafas de soldador, gafas oscuras... Ninguno de estos métodos filtra las radiaciones solares dañinas, o lo hacen en un factor muy bajo.

¿Cómo se usan las gafas de eclipse?

Como unas gafas normales; con ellas puestas la retina no sufrirá daños si se mira directamente al Sol. El Planetario de Madrid recomienda descansar la vista unos 30 ó 40 segundos por cada minuto de observación. "No ande mientras las use, preferiblemente permanezca sentado", aconseja por su parte el OAN. "No deben ser usadas con aparatos ópticos, aunque sí pueden superponerse a las gafas graduadas de uso habitual", apunta este organismo.

Si me lo pierdo, ¿cuándo volverá a repetirse un fenómeno así?

No va a ser pronto, los eclipses de Sol no suceden todos los años. De hecho, para el próximo habrá que esperar hasta el 12 de agosto de 2026. Eso sí, será un eclipse total y resultará mucho más espectacular.

Lo que sí habrá son eclipses de Luna. Este mismo año se podrá disfrutar de uno: ocurrirá el próximo 28 de septiembre y será observable durante las últimas horas de la noche. Podrá contemplarse desde cualquier punto de España, con la única condición de que la Luna esté sobre el horizonte, y se verá más o menos así.


