Las redes sociales específicas son las que más crecen. Aunque hay ejemplos (escasos) de aulas informatizadas y con presencia de herramientas sociales para aprender, internet aún no ha penetrado en la escuela para mejorar las posibilidades pedagógicas.
En aras de convertirse en un punto de encuentro para profesores,e centros educativos y familiares de alumnos, la editorial catalana Tekman ha lanzado The Capsuled, una red social educativa creada en España con la que los usuarios podrán interactuar, generar y compartir contenidos y propuestas educativas de forma abierta, fácil y visual.
«La sociedad está experimentando cambios importantes y muchas escuelas se están replanteando el modelo educativo tradicional», explican los responsables del proyecto en un comunicado. En esta plataforma se podrá compartir contenidos de corte educativo, informar de lo que sucede tanto dentro como fuera del aula, así como dotar de conocimientos y mejorar el aprendizaje.
Disponible para Android y próximamete para iOS, la estructura de la plataforma difiere de los tradicionales foros y toma elementos de las redes sociales tradicionales para organizar un «timeline» al más puro estilo de Facebook, permitir ver varios contenidos a la vez o publicar entradas que, a su vez, pueden comentarse por otros usuarios. Para diferenciar los tipos de contenidos, cada publicación contará con un color en función de si va dirigido a escuelas, familias o para leerse por todos los públicos.
«Las buenas ideas pueden cambiar actitudes y las actitudes pueden cambiar el mundo. El proyecto pretende romper los muros existentes hasta ahora entre escuela y familia: la familia desea implicarse en la educación de los niños y la escuela desea ser totalmente transparente, abrirse al mundo y explicar en qué consisten sus planes educativos», señala Enric del Pozo, director general de Tekman.
